Somatic Facilitator Certification & Ecstatic Dance Training

Program Structure:

Pre-Retreat: Complete foundational online coursework at your own pace before we meet in person.

The Retreat: 5-day hands-on training with a daily schedule: 9am to 6pm.

Post-Retreat Practicum: A one-month period of self-study and practice teaching sessions supported by online mentorship.

Upon registration, you will receive your online toolkit which includes a digital training manual, curated music library, sample playlists, and sample classes.

We provide everything you need to embody, master, and facilitate:

1) Fully Facilitated Somatic Dance 

2) Lightly Guided Somatic Dance 

3) Free-Form Ecstatic Dance featuring ceremony, ritual, and sacred space-holding.

Details of this course

EMBODY

During the Facilitator Retreat you get to embody the somatic practices that are known to help release trauma and stagnant or unexpressed emotions from the body.

LEARN

You will receive an entire video library of teachings for your continued education. The videos will reinforce what you learn during the facilitator retreat. 

PRACTICUM

If you would like to facilitate somatic dance, we recommend that you do a practicum - these are informal practice teaching sessions you do at home with a friend.

MENTORSHIP

You will have an opportunity to join an online Zoom mentorship session and receive additional support after the Facilitator Retreat.

Book your flights to arrive the day before the training begins and your departure flight for the day after the training ends (at the minimum).

Fly into Palm Beach Airport (PBI) , 5min drive to Lake Worth Beach. 

Fly into Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL), 45min drive to Lake Worth Beach (train available)

Book an AIRBNB near the studio. Studio address is 1205 Lucerne Ave. Lake Worth Beach, FL. There are plenty of rentals near the studio!

Book a Bed and Breakfast. We recommend the Mango Bed and Breakfast in downtown Lake Worth.

Book a Hotel. The Fairfield Inn is across the street from the ocean and beach with restaurants and shops.

Star Triana

Born as Arielle Star, she is leading teacher in the field of somatic movement and ecstatic dance. Star began her journey of facilitation in 2004 and created her first facilitator training program in 2009. She has helped hundreds step into path of somatic movement and ecstatic dance facilitation. Star skillfully weaves free form movement, with somatic embodiment, breathwork, chakra wisdom and energy healing practices into one seamless practice. In her training course she provides all the building blocks so you can create your own unique classes and workshops.
